ABOUT

Nikki Nelson-Hicks

In second-grade, Nikki was tagged as being gifted when she attempted to check out a book on bats and it was discovered she read at a fourth-grade level. The truth of the matter was that she believed bats could turn into people.

When Nikki was in sixth grade, she wrote and performed a play, The Hunt for Bigfoot, and later created the Monster Hunter’s Club which entered a cryptozoology exhibit, the first of its kind, in the annual school fair.

It won an honorable mention.

As an adult, she lived in Budapest, Hungary where she walked in the footsteps of Vlad Dracula and Elizabeth Bathory, looked for Djinn in spirit caves of Oman, and was a member of one of the first paranormal investigation teams to spend the night at the Villisca Axe Murder House.

It’s important to understand that it took Nikki Nelson-Hicks a lifetime to get this weird.

And now, she uses this love of the strange and all her arcane and mostly inappropriate knowledge to spin her tales of the warped and weird.

So, have a seat. Make yourself a drink and get comfortable.

She has so many stories to tell.
